Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy, employing more than half the country’s private work force, creating three out of every four jobs, generating and driving a majority of American innovations and increasing U.S. competitiveness. The small businesses of Washington, DC are no exception. They have led the economic recovery of our city, and are propelling our city’s growth.

The DC Chamber of Commerce has created the Chamber’s Champion’s Small Business Awards and Expo to recognize and exhibit those businesses that embody the entrepreneurial spirit.
